Healing Melodies – recovery and inspiration

How long does it take to recover from a broken bone? As long as it takes.

Healing Is Relative

Recovery Bells - a set of ceramic bells hangs on a post with a bright colored garden behind it.

I’m so glad that my broken ankle no longer defines me or my mobility. Over many months, this injury had a lot to teach me. It also inspired me to write, record, and share this music with you.

I don’t need to go back over that story in detail. After all, you may learn about it through the series of blog posts I’ve shared with you throughout this process. Here they are if you want to catch up with the story.

“Healing Melodies” is eleven songs filled with the sounds of recovery. I hope you will listen to these tracks, add them to your playlists, and be inspired as well.

Recovery

A pink bloom in the foreground looks vibrant in the sunshine. Behind it is a withered, orange bloom that does not look like it will recover.

To anyone who does not stay ill or injured, recovery is deeply meaningful. I know that for me, my healing process has been both a challenge and an inspiration. I’ve learned so much. And now I’m ready to live my life in the ways that feel more “normal” to me.

I am so grateful to all the people and the one dog who were so instrumental (pardon the pun) in my healing. And in this post, I particularly want to share this new music. So let me get on with that!

I’ve been sharing with you many of the songs that make up this album. Whether you are one of my VIP supporters or anyone who has a fan account on BandCamp, you have previewed these tracks. Many of you have given me feedback. From that feedback, I have updated the recordings and made them sound even better. Thank you! You are the best.

Healing Melodies

Starting with Healing Inergy, I shared the story of my recovery. On the flip side, I also shared the instruments I used and the company that made them. In this case, it was Fluffy Audio. The instruments made by this company are among my favorites. Thank you, Fluffy!

Second up was Healing Vibe with the sounds of the Grand Marimba. All instruments on this track are by SonicCouture.

Next was Healing Harp (a fan favorite) with instruments by Evolution Series. Healing Voices is the song I made with instruments by Strezov Sample. Then came Healing Love with the instruments of Ample Sounds. I also created Healing Fire with instruments by Triple Spiral Audio and Healing Breath with instruments by Arturia. And finally, four more tracks you can discover on your own.

“Healing Melodies” is available on all streaming radios.
