Something about the sun this morning:
More penetrating than usual,
It is steadily and yet gently
Pressing its way in through
Light clouds, atmosphere,
Shutters and drapes
That give way
To its shining caresses.
Its light enters happily,
Smilingly, gracefully
Into soft colors and unlit
Corners.
Responsive:
The space seems to come
Alive
Welcoming the penetrating
Light.

Lovely, Stan! Could feel the gentle warmth – nice!
Thanks. You get poetry.
Ahhhahaha, though mostly I feel it sometimes gets hold of me & won’t let go til it gives me its full effect. The roll in your poem, line to line, was like a gentle hand at my back keeping me focused and the beautiful moments of sunrise – very nice!
Thanks again! Yes, I know just what you mean: poetry often grabs hold of me, too.
It shows ❤️
