I’m partial to love. It seems to me that all human beings are.
Love Wins

During my recovery, I’ve experienced all sort of things that I’d call “love”. There are many types of love. For other people, using this word might seem like a stretch. But for me, it fits. Here are some examples:
- RB (our dog) who kept coming back with a look of concern while I crawled home immediately after the slip that caused the broken ankle.
- The neighbor who drove me on the icy roads to get me to urgent care. He also walked RB once he drove me home.
- My musician friend who brought over a salve that they have found to be an excellent remedy. It worked for me as well.
- The couple who brought over food one afternoon soon after they heard about my injury.
- My beloved spouse who cared for me in spite of huge demands in other parts of her life.
- My beloved spouse who invited me to stretch and move even though I was challenged by the discomfort of my recovery.
Musical Love
Inspired by these many forms of love, I started to write this series of songs that will be the album “Healing Melodies”. Though I could have named almost any of these pieces “Healing Love”, this is the one I chose. I’m not sure exactly why. As I’ve mentioned previously, titles just come to me.
Also, there is another harp on this track. This one has this cool warble on some long tones. I really enjoy the sound of this harp.
It’s called the konghou and is made by Ample Sound. In fact, every instrument on this song is made by this same company.
The Process Continues
There are more tracks that I’ll be including in this album. And I’m thrilled to be releasing it to all the streaming radios soon. Stand by…

Good luck and success with your recovery! Yes, love is definitely a good treatment method. Simple, effective and without harmful side effects 🙂
Thanks so much, Friedrich!
One of my friends once said “Love means different things to different people” There is a lot of truth there. One thing I know for sure is that love has no boundaries. I love the music. Sorry that you had to deal with your foot probably in a lot of pain but I am glad you had so much love and support to help you through.
I agree with your friend. Thank you for your kind words.
