Life is surprising. Each human and each of their creative outpourings are becoming themselves.
When I released the album “Pure Movement”, some of my toughest critics gave it high praise. Two people who dear to me said it was my best work yet.
Surprises
This album is full of a story of becoming. You can read that story and listen along to the tracks in Part 1 and Part 2 of Pure Movement.
The Other Story
The other piece of this puzzle is DistroKid. This company provides what we know in the music business as “distribution services”. Basically, I hired them to send my music to Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, YouTube, and many other streaming music services. (I recommend DistroKid to other musicians, by the way.)
But DistroKid goes way beyond streaming distribution. They are constantly becoming better for the musicians who rely on them. To do this, they keep finding innovative ways to enhance and promote my music. One service they have is called Vizy. This cool feature will take an interactive video and set one of my tracks to that imagery. It uses the sound intensity and frequency to create the changing visual.
The Result
All of that (above) was just a long way to tell you that I have three new videos for this album (as you can see)! Let me know what you think about them. I’m still trying to decide if I’ll continue to use Vizy for music videos like this. And you can help me make that decision. Thanks! Reach out to me with a comment on this blog post or on Twitter.
Thanks to DistroKid for providing this cool feature … even if I decide not to use it again.
