Solopreneurs – choosing your web presence

This is not an in depth look. Just hoping to get the conversation started. As a solopreneur, should you have your own website? Or is your Facebook (or other social network) page good enough? If I am plugging my own brand, how complete is a blogging site (Medium, SubStack, etc.) for my web presence?

Thanks for your interest. Let’s keep the conversation going…

  1. I have a WordPress website, I like it and I link it to my blog, I can put it on my cv because people only want a one page cv now so if I can catch their attention with that they can read more on my website.

Hope you have luck with whatever you decide to do.

  2. You need to find where your audience is and follow them there. Or produce such great content that they find you. Or a combination of both. Marketing is always hard (especially for solopreneurs). It’s why people with a proven track record of success get paid the big bucks. One thing is certain though, just relying on Facebook is an exercise in futility. The place has become a ghost town. It reminds me of Second Life.
