The thing about holiday music in the city is that stores completely spoil it. Some begin playing them as early as Nov. and by the time the great day comes, we’re all suffused with them. It’s a pity. If one gets the time to exert some control and listen only to a playlist of favorites, the season would be much enhanced. On the flip side, however, cities, NYC in special, are beautiful during the holidays so it’s all even all and forgotten by the time Jan. rolls on. Cheers
I can relate. Several times over the past month, my friends and family have expressed disbelief about the too-early Christmas tunes.
Hopefully, my original and arranged traditional tracks make it into some of these personal playlists!
They certainly will. Cheers
