It had been so long
That I think I had
Forgotten the benefits
Of a lazy day.
All the worry about
The long lists of things
To do
And just the standard
Bustle of daily living
Left by the wayside
For the simplicity
Of lazing about.
We truly are
Worth a day
Filled with this kind
Of expansive
Nothingness.
