Direct support is the best way. But, so far, not everyone uses Mirlo, Jam dot Coop, Bandwagon dot FM, or even BandCamp. Maybe some day.
I’ve already covered my commercial streaming top 10(ish) songs/tracks for 2025. Now it’s time to acknowledge all of you who opted for this direct support.
The Year In Review

I had hoped that by now, I’d be able to give you a “top 10” for Mirlo (or one of the other entirely independent resources for unsigned musicians). Unfortunately, I haven’t even got 10 supporters on all of those platforms combined.
So, Bandcamp continues to rule when it comes to supporting unsigned musicians. And you all really do listen, download, subscribe, and more there. Thank you so much!
It’s been a year of change. Both in the broader culture and in my own life there have been twists and turns I never could have expected. I won’t bore you with all of that for this post. But here are my top ten(ish)s for 2025.
Downloads

The best part about Bandcamp is the community we have created there. Thanks to all who have followed, subscribed, and downloaded this year. I appreciate your input, feedback, chats, and kind words.
In addition to subscribers and folks who did a full discography downloads, these were the top 12 most downloaded releases. (Yeah, I use numbers loosely. There’s nothing magic about 10, so I mess with it a bit.)

Plays
Bandcamp community members really know how to press PLAY on a song. Thanks to everyone who helped make these songs my most played in 2025.
Ready for what’s next

I sometimes worry that my composition, improvisation, and song styles are too varied. But when I look at this list, I see it doesn’t matter. These most supported tracks range from pipe organ pieces to a cover of a gospel song, from tribal-influenced ensembles to solo piano improvisations. And yet, you supported it all. Thank you.
May the transition to a new calendar year bring you the best possible continuation of your journey. Thanks for traveling this road together.
