A brown dog looks out over a frozen waterfall.

Morning Darkness – an #improv #poem

Tiny sparkles
like ground bound
stars

dot the grass.
The full circle
of the moon

is our guide.
We will walk
and then race

to meet the
necessity
of this morning moment.

A brown dog on a leash and wearing a purple jacket stands in a snowy field. Beyond the field we see line of trees and the sky with a mixture of clouds and blue.

  1. This poem warmly invites us to take a moment to enjoy the beauty of nature, treasure the times we share with others, and look forward to fresh starts and new adventures.

Absolutely fantastic work! I can’t wait to see more of your writing!

By the way, if you have a moment, check out my blog where I share my own poetry. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
