The Changing Light

Since I moved to upstate New York, one of my favorite things to see and photograph is the changing light. Sunlight here changes throughout the day and between the seasons in such dramatic ways. Especially in Autumn, the changing light catches my eye and draws me to my camera.

Lake Sunrise & Sunset Views

Does It Matter If It’s a Sunrise or Sunset?

Though I try to be careful to tag photos as specifically a sunrise or sunset, when it comes to loveliness, I’m not sure that it matters which one it is. Certainly, in upstate New York there are very frequent marvels when the sun is first rising above the horizon and when it is sinking out of sight.
