Holiday Playlist 2

Holiday music: what are you listening to?

What Music Do You Listen To For The Holidays?

The winter holidays are full of song. It’s impossible to avoid holiday music as we go about our gift shopping, office parties, open houses, and live music venues. What are you listening to? Do you have a favorite playlist or do you let your streaming service (Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) choose?

My holiday playlist

My holiday playlist is based on my recently released song, “New Magic“. Even the old recordings of Frank Sinatra with the scratchy audio sound good when they’re in this mix. If you use Pandora, you can listen to “New Magic radio”, too.

Occasionally, I get overloaded with the Christmasy songs, though. When that happens, I switch over to “Grace Operative radio“. Of course, this is based on my song, “Grace Operative”. Because of this song’s connection to jazz and piano, I highlighted those in the playlist. I’ve been inspired and thrilled to listen to the piano musings of Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, and Oscar Peterson.

Do you hear what I hear?

My one Winter Solstice album is “Do You Hear What I Hear?” And you can hear it! If you don’t have a streaming preference, listen to it here:

Naturally, it’s also available on Deezer, Tidal, Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Music, and many other streaming music services. For example…

New Magic

Holiday Playlist 2

This is the other holiday song that I hope will spread its message of kindness and the spirit of this season far and wide. “New Magic” is my song of the love of the goodness that the Winter holidays bring out in people. It also asks why we can’t keep this sense of our shared humanity all year ’round.

If you don’t prefer one streaming service over another, please listen to this song here:

Of course, if you prefer Apple Music or Spotify, here are your play buttons. Thanks for listening and have a beautiful holiday season!

    1. Thanks so much! I also enjoyed seeing your blog. Great snow photos — where did you take those? (I tried to leave a comment on your blog, but it didn’t work from WordPress reader. I’ll try again when I’m at my desktop.)

        1. Ah, I see. That’s the way my blog used to be, too, so I understand. I did leave a comment on the post with the superb winter trees photos. All the best!
