#2FollowTuesday volume 27 (writers)

Writers

writers refillEvery time I try to categorize my #2FollowTuesday recommendations, I see again how people (and even many brands) cannot be stuck under a single label. Instead, we human beings are so multi-faceted and multi-talented. Especially when we try to label each other, we should expect to be surprised.

It’s no surprise at all that the two recommendations I’m making today are for just such “writers”. As you’ll see when you follow them, they are so much more.

Two more good folk on Twitter

Jon Mertz and several other writers post some wonderful content on the Thin Difference blog. Among their subjects are trends for the millennial generation, cooperation and kindness between people, connecting creative thought to leadership, and better habits for a healthy and positive life. Now, I suspect you can see what I mean about “multi-faceted”.

Among the other inspirations Jon offers is his recent book, Activate Leadership: Aspen Truths to Empower Millennial Leaders. Though (obviously) geared towards millennials, this book is great leadership empowerment for anyone.

Please check out the Thin Difference tweet stream and blog, follow, and say “hello” from me.

Ginny Taylor advocates for sexual abuse survivors. Her own experience and expertise contribute to Women of Wonder Circle. There, she encourages and educates this circle about what it means to survive and even to move beyond survival. In other words, it is the aspect of wonder that shines from the pages of her posts.

Besides being such a vibrant advocate, Ginny is a wonderful friend. We met in creative circles and have remained connected. In each of our interactions, her uplifting attitude and generosity sparkle. I’m grateful to count Ginny as a friend and hope you will, too.

Thanks for stopping by and reading about my two recommendations for today. As you can see, Ginny and Jon are complex and wonderful people. In addition, their circles of writers and community bring a host of inspiration to our world. Please follow them and offer a greeting from me.
