I’m melting. Not in a liquid way though,
For I am also
Azure. Not an anticipated,
Fiery color. Yet natural and
Azure into blue into azure
Calls forth the flame.
The fire is perfected.
Is inviting enough.
Yet my mind says “no” while
My heart says “yes”.
I long for these two to be
In tune, to harmonize and
Symphonize. Both [...]
Leaves fall in Autumn and cover the ground in layers
The top layer is dry and brittle.
Touching these may cause them to crumble.
Or the wind may simply lift them away to show
The next layer down which is warm
And misty with the former liquid [...]
Rain has been pouring, showering,
Gushing and sprinkling all day.
Until today, there had been only
The memory of rain. The dry, sandy
Soil had become crusty and sad.
